Test Rolls

Before diving into full projects, I shoot “test rolls” to get a feel for different films, cameras, and developing techniques. These rolls are a way to experiment—checking how expired film responds, how lenses render light, or how certain developing methods affect the final image. They’re not about perfection, but about learning, problem-solving, and discovering unexpected results. My goal with these test rolls is to build a deeper understanding of film’s possibilities and to refine my approach before committing to larger bodies of work.
